Work packages (WP)
To reach the overall goal and objectives of the project and to ensure an efficient and well-timed implementation, the ECROPOLIS project has been divided into six work packages (WP1-6) and one management cluster (WP0).
Based on the framework developed
in WP1, the sensory profiling is elaborated in WP3, and the qualitative
and quantitative consumer
research is carried out in close relationship in WP4. The OSIS database
will be prepared early in the project (WP2) to provide a platform for
continuous implementation of research data from WP3 and WP4. Then, WP5
draws recommendations for all stakeholder
groups in order to inform about the synthesis work among sensory
profiles with standard requirements and consumer research. At that
stage of the project WP2 activities provide further conceptual input
how to spread product information and how to maintain the data exchange
to nationally
available product databases. WP6 comprises the
involvement of dissemination of project results to important
stakeholders and the public as well as training activities for sales
staff as well as retailers/wholesalers.
