From certification activity to promotion, training and research in bio-organic agriculture and sustainable development

     
Bioagricoop scrl started its activity in 1984 as a team of technicians, agronomists and experts in the agro- food sector, beginning the first Independent Control Body for organic food products at national and international level (Italy, East Europe, Mediterranean Basin, Latin America, South East-Asia).    

In 1993 Bioagricoop obtained the recognition from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests as National Organization for the Control and Certification of organic products. Bioagricoop established “Bioagricert” as its own organic guarantee mark for organic products certification and in 2002, for structural and operative reasons, delivered all certification and inspection activities to Bioagricert (accredited by SINCERT, IFOAM and many other accreditation bodies) and it continued to promote organic agriculture and sustainable development.
Today Bioagricoop activity is divided in three main thematic areas: cooperation projects, study and research activity, training and promotion activity.
Bioagricoop staff, thanks to its internal know how and long experience, is actively involved in sharing innovations in bio organic agriculture and in promoting dialogue between operators, researchers and experts.
